

THAMS 2026 - Information for Composers
The Thessaloniki Art & Music Summit offers composers an immersive artistic and cultural experience in one of Greece’s most vibrant cities. The 2026 edition provides a structured, supportive, and inspiring environment designed to help you grow as an artist while connecting with fellow composers, performers, and faculty.
Professional Orchestral Experience

Work directly with the Thessaloniki State Symphony Orchestra (TSSO).

Attend rehearsals of your own piece and learn from the orchestra’s musicians and conductors.

Receive an audio live recording of your work.

Gain experience in real-world orchestral communication, score preparation, and rehearsal etiquette.

Workshops & Artistic Development

Participate in workshops led by faculty from Global Arts United and Ablaze Records.

Explore topics such as orchestration, artistic identity, score presentation, rehearsal planning, and career development.

Festival Hotel

THAMS provides participants with housing at a festival-designated hotel, centrally located in Thessaloniki.

The hotel is chosen for easy access to most THAMS locations.
Cultural Activities in Thessaloniki
In addition to rehearsals and workshops, participants will experience a curated set of cultural activities, which may include:

THAMS 2026 Guests and Faculty:

Program Fee for THAMS 2026: €4250
Application Deadline: February 1st
Fee includes: housing, lessons, lectures, facilities, preparation of music materials, rehearsals, performance, live recording, cultural activities, and other festival events.
