THAMS 2026 was an unforgettable experience. Our participant composers fell in love with the city of Thessaloniki, while the collaboration with the Thessaloniki State Symphony Orchestra (TSSO) exceeded all expectations. The orchestra's artistry, combined with the dedication of our conductors and their close work with participants, resulted in inspiring performances and meaningful artistic exchanges. We were also thrilled to connect with Thessaloniki audiences and begin building lasting relationships within the city's vibrant cultural community. Additional highlights included a visit to the Thessaloniki State Conservatory and an extraordinary presentation and concert by Nikos Xanthoulis, whose work beautifully combined performance, composition, historical research, musicology, ethnomusicology, and pedagogy.
